Who is camping this weekend?

We are for the first time this season and it’s looking chilly overnight! We will be in Devon, I’m not even sure there is heating in the toilet/shower room - the last time we went there it was August

I wish we had gone at Easter now, something we did once and I swore we never would again!

Is anyone else braving it?

I camped last night. Just one night to test the new equipment. Was chilly overnight but was plenty warm in my bed

I don’t doubt I’ll be warm in my bed but it’s the early morning toilet trip I’m worried about

How early is that? It was ok at 0630 this morning. I am on the south coast though 😂

I think the cold front hits tomorrow, there is talk of frost

For once I am quite happy not to be camping this weekend. Very very wet and windy here.

At least it doesn’t look wet down south. There is snow on higher ground this morning in North Wales!

Did you go? We had hailstorms yesterday, luckily I was home safe by then :)

Yes and there has been a frost! The sun is trying its best but it’s freeeezing

July 2012 we were in Alice Springs in a tent and it was minus 5, not a nice experience
