Recommendations for campsite in Abersoch area, within walking distance to amenities?

Looking for a couple of nights away in our Campervan, would ideally like to pitch up and then walk to beach, shop pub/cafe. Doesn't have to be Abersoch, a smaller village on the Llynn Peninsula would be great. We have older teens so don't need entertainment etc but would like a beautiful, peaceful site with EHU? Does anywhere exist that fits the bill? Or any suggestions (Not the Willows as that's adults only and I remember there 2 child policy from years ago; )

Sorry, nothing helpful to add but having spent the weekend looking for somewhere to stay in the Abersoch area with my camper van I'm shamelessly jumping on the thread in the hope for other replies.... Grin

Do you have any sites you can recommend? We're new to Campervan camping but realise how much easier it is if you can walk to amenities etc..

We used to camp at Tudweiliog all the time when I was a kid. It was across the road from the beach and a fairly short walk to the village with a good pub. It was pretty basic back then so no idea what it is like now

I think the campsite is called Towyn Farm. Had brilliant holidays there

I've stayed at an amazing one in Tudweilog. You can walk down the cliff to the beach. I'll try and find a link.

Thanks so much for posting. We did manage to get away and stayed at a lovely site called Bolmynydd in Llanbedrog, it was a lovely clean and peaceful campsite (the drive up to it was incredibly narrow though with very limited passing places). It was a lovely walk down to the very pretty Llanbedrog beach. Thanks for the other suggestions. We loved the Lynn so will check those out next time.
