We are looking for somewhere in the South East of England for a few nights at may half term. Any recommendations? We have 3 DC's, looking for a non electric tent pitch, a pub within walking distance would be nice!

I'd have a look at the campsites in the New Forest. There are several, run by Camping in the Forest, with varying facilities. Ashurst is nice, and a few minutes walk from the village.

The campsite at Hop Farm in Kent is attached to a family farm park which always has lots to do. The campsite has just got brand new washing facilities. There is a good choice of places to eat (and drink) within walking.

There is a lovely countryside site near Canterbury called Nethergong Camp Site. Beautiful setting and a short walk from a nice pub at Grove Ferry. Short car trip to beaches.
