Has anyone ever stayed on Mullacott Farm, nr Woolacombe. We are thinking 2 weeks. To me it looks like it could be great for DC. Just thinking we could get blown away, it's on a hill. thanks

well as no-one else has answered...

I haven't stayed there, but driven past it. Looks quite reasonable. We usually stay at Golden Coast - they have a courtesy bus service to the beach, as well as a lot of facilities.

No don't know it and I can't find you any reviews either.

if in doubt get some delta tent pegs to hold everything down and use all your guys - you'd be amazed how many people don't!

Thanks for looking Lucycat. I spent ages lokking for review last night as well. I guess we'll just have to keep fingers crossed it'll be fine. Plus lots of delta pegs (now I know what they are).

I did look in my AA book ( it's a couple of years old - 2005 I think) and it got 3 pennants ( on a scale of 1 to 5) 1 being a field and 5 being an all action all singing / dancing park - and 66% satisfaction out of a rating of 50-80% - si compares well.

It has 115 touring pitches and 160 statics on an 8 acre site, just to give you an idea of size.

Have a lovely time.

another nice site in the area is 'Morte Hoe farm' just outside Woolacombe, fantastic views across the bay - but again on a cliff so windy!

Thanks Lucycat. We decided on Mullacott farm, as sssshhhhh > and it has some sort of play area inside. We just figured it may be handy at some point. If you get my drift.
