Anyone know of a good campsite near Alton Towers?

DH wants to camp this summer. DD is 11 and an only child, so we need to be somewhere that will keep her reasonably happy & not bored. He thiks Alton Towers would be good, personally I'll be holding their bags whilst they're on the rides!

its not right on top of alton towers but how about cannock chase?
