Will you go abroad next year?

With everything as it is with brexit I really don't think we can afford to go camping abroad next year Sad Is anyone else in the same position?

@millimat I really want to go to France but DH really isn’t keen. Can I ask what you think the extra costs will be?

Are you thinking of a slump in sterling? That worries me, but also can't face the possible queues for passport control at the terminals.

Currently debating a trip to Scotland instead for this year. Quite excited Grin

It's twofold. One of the cost as the value of sterling is so unknown.
The other is the queues for the ferry. I was reading somewhere that if every lorry is searched for one minute, the queue for Dover will be 30 miles long in a matter of hours Hmm
Driving to france seems less appealing on that basis.

When you put it like that, I feel a little less inclined to go too millimat.
