I purchased one of these this week so I can go away with my 2 kids for the odd night during the summer hols.

Spent ages deciding which one to get. I would've liked a tent with one big room with divider incase children wanted to sleep near me. None quite fitted, too small if dp joined us or too big for little old me to put up.

Main concern is how easy it is to put up on my own with a 2 year old running around. Sure I'll manage

Can you trap the children in the car while you get the basics done?

I would imagine that the 2 cross over poles go in first then the two ends should be straightforward - hopefully!

The 2 year old will be strapped and locked in the car. 5 year old could be useful if it's windy

Yes it looks straighforward, looks .....

Our big tent is a kyham ridgidome and is simple in theory but ends up time consuming. Oh well it's a very sturdy tent.
