How do I make an inflatable mattress comfy?

I've just bought this and have blown it up to see what it feels like and it is just so lumpy.

How can I make it less uncomfortable?

Hmm, wouldn't recommend double airbeds - you keep each other up all night squeaking and rolling and worrying about keeping easch other up.

crunchie · 22/06/2007 23:09

3 or 4 glasses of wine

Lucycat · 23/06/2007 17:53

Don't blow it up too much! If it's really rock solid then it will be bunpy - it needs to be a bit squishy.

crunchie's idea is a tried and tested one too

agree with the ago-old camping tradition of lots of wine in the evenings and you won't notice where you are sleeping! And that looks like a fab airbed to me!

4 weeks til the Kbear's go camping - sooo over-excited!! And we've got a trailer now so I won't have to sit with half a dozen bags of crap all round my feet on the journing!

Lucycat · 23/06/2007 18:27

I bet you still do Kbear - we now have a 580 litre roofbox (the biggest we could find) and we still manage to fill the car!

how exciting where are you off to?

KbearBrockovich · 23/06/2007 18:32

journing??? meant journey... see, over-excited!

We are going to Kessingland next to a safari park with some friends and their children. Can't wait.

We have a roof box and a trailer and yes, I bet I am still surrounded by bags!

You've probably plown it up too hard - you need to test it with the people who are going to sleep on it preferably before it's really late at night and desperate for bed!
