How to sort a caravan for winter

Hi all,

Pretty new to caravan ownership! It's getting to 'last trip of the season' time and I was wondering what I can leave in the caravan over winter? Do you tend to empty everything out? Or just electrical/bedding stuff? Don't want to find all of our bits and bobs rusty/mouldy at the start of next year's season!

You can buy mould absorbers, drain your caravan down, you can pour antifreeze down your pipes to stop any bursts.

Pull mattresses/soft furnishings away from walls leaving a small gap. You can leave curtains up.

Make sure your water is switched off and then drain down.

You could get it taped off if your on a site that provides this service for you.

There's more you can do but that's the ones off the top of my head.
