The Lizard camping

We are considering The Lizard in Cornwall for July/August next year. Any one camped there? It seems a bit more remote than the rest of Cornwall, cheaper too. Recommendations for sites and things to do would be appreciated.

I've not been yet but, been looking at this place www.henryscampsite.co.uk

Iv stayed at Henry’s campsite and it is brilliant ! Bit pricier than other campsites but it’s worth it. They have food and tea facilities, washing and entertainment. It’s a very Glastonbury/hippy vibe though so if that’s not your thing then it wouldn’t be right for you.

I've stayed at Henry's campsite and have to say found it all a bit too rustic for me!

Little Trevothan campsite is walking distance to Coverack which is so pretty and still remarkably untouristy. The facilities are great and it's very child friendly. There is a good games room ifor he weather's not great. Toilets and showers brand new this year. We have been 3x now.

The Lizard is the best part of Cornwall.

Kennack Sands is a nice place.

Not sure about Henry’s. Not sure we can cope with guitar playing into the early hours. Previous bad experiences on hippy vibe sites. We’re not cool enough for places like that.

I’ve had another recommendation for Little Trevorhan so that likes a front runner. Will check our Kennack Sands.

I second Kennack Sands. Coverack is also lovely.
