Clarys Plage in the Vendee

We are just the point of booking to go at the end of this month with keycamp . Browsing the internet last night I came across some reviews that mentioned how noisy it could be at night!
We thought it looked great, but I am having secound thoughts now and we will have to book it this weekend if we are going. I know a lot of mumsnetters have been and would love to hear if you think it is a bit loud or not. it is driving me mad not being able to make a decision .

I didn't notice noise, however we went in the whitsun wek and it wasn't that busy. Are you going for a tent or mobile?? I would have thought mobile would be quieter if you are worried

We went last August and wouldn't say it was noisy. It might depend on who is there at the same time as you.

Have you looked at the Matthews Holidays website? They have a forum where people talk about the sites.

BTW we were going to book with Canvas until Milliways put me onto Matthews. We got a caravan for the same price as a tent with Canvas. If you're after kids clubs though, Matthews don't do them.

Thanks for the replies crunchie we have booked a mobile for one week at Clarys Plage ( as you said Crunchie a bit more soundproofing) the price was really good so we booked it just now. It is for the 28th June .

June will be fine it is high summer (Aug) tat it is really busy and would possibly be noisy
