Does anyone have one? Any hints and tips to offer?

I have a pie iron which does the same thing (but with a longer handle so they can be used on a campfire or BBQ).

We have done sausages and burgers in ours, toasted sandwiches, and used ready roll pastry with fillers to make a pie / pasty.

Good for a small group, long for a big family if you are cooking them one by one. But the kids liked sitting round the campfire, roasting sandwiches and chatting.
