I'd love a bell tent, but if I can't have that what should I get?

So I can say that dh has tried camping and it is not for him. We bought an airbeam one to help with setting up/arguments etc. But realistically if will be more enjoyable for everyone if I go on my own with the kids.

Airbeam is too big and too heavy for me on my own. We have a little 3 man I can use in meantime.

I'm going to try and sell the airbeam and get something else. My requirements are:

4 person, need to be able to put up myself with dyspraxic 9 the old and a 6 yr old, living area for rain days and storage, stand up in if possible. Happy to sleep in one bedroom, I already bed in with the kids. I'd love polycotton, but perhaps shouldn't get carried away!

Any recommendations?

We’ve got a vango Icarus 500 which is easy to put up, sturdy and completely does the job.

Meant to add, we’ve had it for about 5 years, camp a lot with it and we’ve got us and 3 kids in there! We do have the awning too but I wouldn’t necessarily bother for 3 of you.

Thanks. I'll have a look on local selling boards.

I manage with a 5m Bell tent on my own with the kids. Once you’ve got use to it it’s so easy. Only thing is that it’s quite heavy
