Bed for 7 month old

Hi all, sorry if this has been asked before - I tried a search but couldn't find anything.

Heading camping soon with a very active 7 month old. I've been told the pop-up bubble beds (Koo-di) become a bit like a hamster ball when little one moves around...! Do you think a Kampa Junior Airlock would be ok for him? He rolls about so much in the night.

Don't want to take the huge travel cot (and also don't want to spend lots on something he'll grow out of by next summer!).

It should be fine but in terms of floor space won't take up any less room than a travel cot.
