Eurocamp novice - when is the best time to book for next summer?

We would like to do a Eurocamp style holiday next summer probably to France. Never done this before so just wondering when is the best time to book both the site and the travel? Are there times when there are special deals on or are there no deals for school hols?!

We would prefer to do the tunnel crossing rather than ferry.

Thanks for any advice as not sure where to start.

I think there are good deals before October. Have you signed up to the brochure & emails?

I've always booked well in advance for a main two week summer holiday as I always want to get the best grade of accommodation with air conditioning and these always get booked up first.

For holidays in the spring we have had amazing bargains for Easter and May half term by booking in January. ( once had a fab week in Normandy for £350 including the Ferry to Calais)
Not bothered about air con at that time of year so I'm happy to book later. They always give us a 20% loyalty discount too.

Try looking at Al Fresco, they use the same sights but are usually significantly cheaper. I have booked our next summer with them to Lake Garda and with the early booking discount it was over £500 cheaper than the exact same holiday with Eurocamp.

Hellypad thanks I'll look at that. Do you drive to Lake Garda? I remember my dad driving us when we were young and I'd love to go again but not sure dc's would like the drive!

We are driving yes, it's our first time though but hopefully it will be alright!

Honey1975 · 09/07/2018 16:04

Thanks Helly is the early booking discount still available do you know? Will you cross by ferry?

I think so, not looked since I booked. Most likely by ferry but might do the tunnel if it's cheaper. I meant to say I booked it through Top Cashback and got another £75 back that way too. It's costing just over £1300 for 2 weeks for 4 of us which I thought was a bargain!

Wow that's a good price I will have a look tonight thank you!
