Anyone fancy buying our 5* SW France camping holiday off us - we can't go :-(

We have a week booked (12th-19th August) here on a 5* campsite which is now sold out close to Biscarosse:

It cost us £1340 for the week. We can get a refund on some of it but not all and I thought I would see if someone would like to buy it (as there's no name charge fee) before cancelling! Obviously happy for someone to make an offer.

The campsite is on the shore of Lake Biscarosse (close to Basin de Archachon), has a kids club, water park and various facilities on site.

So tempting, but we can't take off around those dates. I really love that area - one of the most laid back in france. Sorry you can't make it but hopefully someone else will see this and take you up on it! .

Hi - did you sell this in the end? We haven't confirmed our Summer yet, save that we have tunnel tickets which coincide...

No verrico, we haven’t sold it! I have had a couple of people enquire but no one has confirmed. Does it suit your needs?

Ooooh! I've been there - it's lovely!
The kids club was fantastic (the staff spoke good English - there was actually a young American guy working there the year we went), the pool was nice but a little on the small side but it has been extended since we went.

Being on the lake was a real bonus and meant that we didn't actually go to the ocean. The water was clean, warm and shallow by the beach which was perfect for our dc who were still young at the time.

Evening entertainment was good but finished at a reasonable hour. Restaurant was good value for money and the whole site was impeccably clean.

Nice family atmosphere. Our dcs were too small to be left alone but the older children seemed to be having a whale of a time making friends.

Would definitely recommend!
