'Cool' campsite UK for sporty teenagers (not Cornwall)

Looking for somewhere to take my teenagers in our VW van. Would like somewhere with active things to do.They love bodyboarding and kayaking, swimming,walking etc Electric hook up would be great. Ideally I'd like to be able to park up, set up camp and walk to a pub, shop and 'activities'. Does such a place exist within 3 hrs of East Midlands??

I have found this place on my travels. I thought there was also a campsite attached to it but can't find it ATM. Likely to be some around.

River Dart, but a bit more than 3 hours.

Pembrokeshire..coasteering, climbing, surfing... Can't remember the campsite name, but they allow fires, so if you use ukcampsite search facility by county and select allows fires....

I keep meaning to go to Tyn Cornel as I love wild swimming and ds likes kayaking and mountain biking
