Try Cotswold View Carvan and Camping (just outside Burford). We used to go there regularly.

They have playparks on site, a small shop which sells all the necessities (plus freshly baked bread and croissants each morning) and you can order a newspaper!

They have two playing fields, a games room, small enclosure with rabbits, pigs etc .

We went to the Wye Valley recently (about 90 mins from Oxford) and walked through the Bracelands campsite as part of a walk over the 'string bridge' and then went on to Symonds Yat.

Both Bracelands and Christchurch were lovely and the forest walking was fun! Though we did get lost....
