Recommendations for campsites in Vendee

We are hoping to go to France this summer and I fancy Vendee areA. We want to take our tent and any suggestions for campsites would be gratefully received.
Would like it to be near a beach and in/near village/town so that we have shops etc for bread. Pool too would be fab.
Help! This is our first time camping abroad and am not sure of best way to go about booking.

as they have boards just on camp sites et.. I would recomend camping Bel in Tranche sur mer if you have young children /toddlers

Can't recommend on on a beach but Domaine de la foret is S julien des landes is rather nice. It is walking distance to the village. All very nice, smallish pools, set in the grounds of a chateux.

I'd second Bel at La Tranche sur Mer - fab for lo's, I'm off there in 6 weeks, yippeeee!

le Littoral just past les Sables de Olonnes is wonderful, have spent two lovely summers there.
