Replacing Bear Lake 4

We've had a Bear Lake 4 for a few years and love it. It's the poly cotton though so quite heavy and a faff to put up it ranks with trips to Ikea for triggering DH and I getting huffy.. The size is about right in terms of living and sleeping space just the two of us, no DC. We want something lighter and easier to put up, but with the stability we've had from the Bear Lake ( camped through red and orange weather unscathed). Suggestions?

Personally I don’t think there is anything to match a Bearlake!

We have the Bearlake 6 and whilst I always dread putting it up, the thought is always worse than the reality, once I am in it there is nowhere else I would rather be.

My solution was to cut down on our kit so that once the tent was up I spent less time faffing with everything else!

I know what you mean. I love it. But it always causes arguments with DH - like Ikea trips stress. Anyways, it's out if my hands as DH has just presented me with a receipt for a new Phantom 5sa. Looking at it it's just like the BL inside. Let's see how we get on!

Woohoo, how exciting! Please post again to say how you got on with it.

I quite fancy a self inflating tent, but dh says no....
