I think I'm in love with the outwell vermont L ;-)

DH and I went to our local tent shop that has tents up for you to look at and we have fallen in love with the Outwell vermont L. I was hoping they'd have a Bear Lake or Norfolk Lake we could look at but they didn't but whi cares the Vermont L is lurvely

Does anyone have one?

also had the bear lake, but it is canvas, and therefor a PITA to look after....looks wonderful though!

I think it was your post that got me all excited. I love the idea of a stronger tent but it would be a pain to get dry though. i am working on dh to buy the Vermont now. He really liked it so who knows

I like the built in wardrobe with every one - great idea, you can allegedly buy Outwell hangers to go in it too.

It doesn't quite configure how we'd like it, in that the L would be about the right size, sleeps 6 but all next to each other in 2 rooms and the XL has a claustrophobia inducing 1 person bedroom to make it into a 7 berth......

It's new for this year so I don't know how many people would have one.

I've been in a Bear lake and it's very quiet - you don't realise how much noise travels through nylon and not through poly/cotton!
Expensive though!

Why don't they make an 8????

The dearth of 8 berths depresses me. And Vis a vis seem to be out of vogue, and I like them!

yes us too mb - we won't be sleeping near the kids if we can help it this summer!

The Outwell Nevada XL is an 8 berth vis a vis, but looks a bit slopey at the ends, not as upright as the Colorado iykwim.

Anyone know if there are any problems with the size of the Vermont L (415 x 770)?
