Any things you take make it more like glamping. We have two comfy beds a decent tent, trolley, proper pillow, and a sun shade some lights for the tent inside anything else I’m missing

We have those interlocking foam mats that we use to cover the whole of tent floor, incredibly comfy as we can't feel any rocks etc and also it's so warm we can sit on the floor even at night and be warm. It's good for the kids as well as they like to get their toys out and play, keeps them warm. We also take our own duvets and pillows.

Can I ask what comfy beds you have? After reading glowing recommendations of SIMs (on here) I bought us all one. Kids were fine, dh was ok, but I was so uncomfortable! Am trying to decide what I can buy to make this year's camping experience more comfortable!

Dear God, I hope the weather sorts itself out before you go.
We did camping first off, after the 3rd time and the 3rd time everything and I mean everything coming home soaked, we abandoned the idea and bought a caravan...ah bliss!!
It was cheap, old and dated, but so warm and comfy.

If I was doing tent camping again I would definitely choose a site with electric hook up and buy a proper outdoor electric hook up cable, heater and electric hot plate cooker. Leave the gas stuff well alone.

Have a great time, I actually mean that - Camping is great if you've fully prepared for it.

I love a bog-standard cheap airbed. Just as comfy as my bed at home.
I wouldn't like a SIM.
