Las Valades which pitch?

We have missed out on the posh pitches so which pitch or area would you recommend? I like sitting in the sun but a tree or two if it's too hot is good. Any recommendations and did you ring yo book or just online and specify your preferred pitch area?!

The ones nearer the reception have a lot of shade, although the trees are quite tall and not overly leafy. The facilities block up here is bigger and you're nearer to the croissants and playground.

I think the ones down by the lake are also shady but it would be easier to find a spot in the sun if you wanted. The facilities block here is smaller and the pool users use it in the daytime. You're much nearer the lake/pool and there's probably a greater sense of space.

The private facilities pitches are all in full sun with a rare tree for shade/hammocks. I think the new XL pitches are similar too, though these came after I have last been.

Whoop! Just finished booking it up! Can't wait!

Which area did you go for?

Ask for down by the lake. Have booked a fridge. There was no option for a picnic table under the standard pitch - wonder if I email I could book one? Find it so much easier than having to pack a table!
