SIM storage

I've just grabbed myself a new SIM on sale and reading reviews saw purple mentioning about storing them flat / unfilled.I was vaguely aware that that was the advice bit does anyone actually do it? Our other ones seem fine and we've had them five years plus.

We always do but not sure if that’s because we like following rules! The only problem we’ve ever had with one of our SIMs is when we left it filled in a very very hot tent and it went funny. Luckily we were able to swap for a new one.

Stored our 7.5cm SIM rolled up/deflated over winter but when we got it out it took an age (1 month+) to get to the size I remember it being. Will be storing unrolled/with air in the future!

We store ours rolled up but they probably don't inflate as quick as they should doing that.

I store rolled up, but a week before a trip I let them inflate properly to get them in the habit.

I store mine with the valve open (so inflated) and folded into three.
