I thought I was on to something with a bell tent . Smaller and cheaper than a tipi and it has a ground sheet......but was persuaded against it here

Saw a yurt last year, looked OK no more.

tentipi at the tent display we went to today.

TBH we were (I'm suprised) not impressed. It was the £999 model, yet was cramped and dark.

Really hot too today despite being polycotton!!!

"gone as far as the end of the garden"? FFS, you could put my entire garden, my house, and two or three of the neighbours' houses into that Ouled Nail thing. I think we all know what kind of clientele they're pitching themselves at (camping pun, sorry).

I've never seen a yurt or a tipi at a regular campsite, but you see them all the time at festivals......... 'tis a lot of money though.

You couldn't have these and have children with anything approaching a 'normal' name.

They would all have to be called things like Cammomile and Dandelion.

And you'd have to call them in for meals on a regular basis to add to the humilation.

You'd have to give birth in it on a yearly basis too, while ol' Camomile chewed on last years unbilical cord.
