What the hell do I do with my 15/16 month old in a tent?

Wanting to go camping this summer, DD will be 15/16 months.
We have a 2 man tent that just fits a double blow up bed in it....I'm assuming I need a new tent?
And then what does she sleep in? My travel cot is fecking huge and it's the height of the tent so I'd never get her out!
I only camp a few times in the summmer so don't want to buy a special one when I won't use it that often...

we stick them in bed with us then use diary padlock on zip so no escaping babies in middle of night.

So you keep them up until you go to bed? Thinking about it I don't suppose her routine will work in the middle of a field filled with drag racing cars!

I know I shouldn't, and the second won't have a bedtime I'm sure, but she's my PFB! I can't mess with the bedtime routine, it's the only one I have!

at night if you have a spliff inside - your kid will get stoned.

well its an option?!

readybeds are just inflatable single beds with sleeping bag attached. Think the verbaudet ones are just for tiny babies (moses basket size).
They are about 25 quid

readybeds

chirpygirl · 15/04/2007 22:55

I have a proper ready bed, got it after someone put the codes on here with this in mind TBH but it says from 2 years. Couldn't work out why!

no i don't know why it would say from 2 years. They've hardly got far to fall out of it!

kittypants · 16/04/2007 08:22

if you want to put her to bed before you,we used to if they were tired and sit outside tent, just make sure theres nothing she shouldnt have in it as she may explore!or if your not going to be near tent stick her in pushchair or sling and transfer her later.that way if you really want to do the routine you can but without putting her into bed.
