Pembrokeshire campsites

Any recommendations helpful campers? DH is from Milford Haven and his parents are still there. It would be good if we aren't too far away so we can meet up but there aren't many sites nearby.

Close to the beach with children to play with are the main things. Would be beginning of school holidays I expect.

What time of year are you planning to go? I’m originally from Milford Haven too and have spent every summer since I was six at Sandy Haven beach caravan park, which is about three miles outside of Milford. There is a campsite with basic facilities but we love it. Easy access to the beach with brilliant rock pools and crabbing bridge. It’s nice a sheltered so great for the kids to splash around without huge waves (although the current is fast when tides are changing). Hope that helps

Thanks Mumtothelittlefella Thinking of going end of July. Sandy Haven would be very convenient for DH's parents. I'd miss EHU for the fridge but TVs on sites are starting to get annoying so that could be a plus. DCs are 10 and 7. The beach sounds great for the youngest but 10 year old likes to get in the big waves (so do I). Still, surf beaches aren't too far away.
