Er guess we'd better sell the tahoma then..... (aka Peachys odd idea of a weekend tent)

we popped over to the localm camping centre after seeing this on their webiste and Dh just whipped out the switch card and bought!

Yippee!

Not exactly tiny LOL but fits the camping and caravan club standards so absolutely OK, but seems silly to have the tahoma as well so Dh popping it on Ebay- >

Snap! Ours will be our big tent, too. Going to get the groundsheet at some point. We got a free Khyam windbreak with ours (smug).

PeachyChocolateEClair · 10/04/2007 19:39

Sal they've got a great display up there now you know, worth a trip up. About 20 minutes drive from here.

Saw the windbreak offer (we were also considering the vario Lokon 6 for £209 with free canopy and windbreak on the same site) but it was easier just to grab it whilst we were there, never used one anyway, doubt we would.

this one will be it now until DH is ready to but Norfolk Lake in a few years, at almost £700 thats a big commitment though!

Sorry to hijack, but what do you think of this tent (I am a complete camping virgin, but am going to Glastonbury this year and am thinking of going camping more often too).

I recently trawled the MN archives, and saw you refer to the tent you are getting rid of, can I ask why you have gone off it? there is so much to learn about tents

PeachyChocolateEClair · 10/04/2007 19:53

Bought that for my Mum its a good tent BUT please don't take that to Glastonbury! Dh used to do security there and tent thieves would take anything that stands- take something that costs a few quid on ebat for goodness sake!

As a longer term thent though thats a good choice.
