Campervan with 3 kids

We have 3 kids, aged 3-7. They are pretty petite and are all in big car seats still.

We keep talking about buying a campervan but I've no idea if it's even possible with 3 kids.

Does anyone with 3 kids have one? Any recommendations?

I would have thought your difficulty will be finding one with 5 properly belted seats. You may need to look more on the Motorhome category of vans.

We've been through this a couple of times. Its really hard to find three back seats that have proper belts, you can have lap belts fitted but we weren't really happy with that.

They DO exist though, plenty of people have custom fit interiors that have seat belts but you have to trawl through lots of for sale ads to find them. Good luck. Let me know what you get it the end!! We are still trying to pluck up the courage to go ahead!!

We've thought about it, but with 3 kids a camper van becomes very crowded / cramped, and would need an awning, maybe a tent for some to sleep in when older / bigger, so in the end doesn't really have any advantage over camping in a tent.
