How much is a camper van for a week?

Can you tell me roughly how much one would have to pay to hire a 4 birth camper van for a week in the summer hols? Can't find quotes online, only end up with numbers to call for a quote!

We got a 70s VW camper van last summer holidays £395 for 4 nights with a £500 deposit. Prices it for this year (different company as the original company closed down) £735 for 4 nights no security deposit.

Around £800-1000 per week for a motorhome and the price depends on the region too. Hire rates plus expenses for diesel, gas for cooking, hot water, bed linen, towels, child seats, satnav, parking at campsites, bike hires, bbq, food etc another £300-400. But the experience can be priceless.
