Camping equipment sales

Hi.
I'm going away and have most things from last year but a few things are a nice luxury extra and I do plan on camping every year.
Anyway some sales are starting, but when is the best time to get great bargains?
I'm think in the winter maybe, or do they start selling the last of the stock now?
If any one has had real bargains please tell me when you got them.
Particularly a cooking table thing with shelves and wind guard. Cozy sleeping bags. Picnic tables and chairs.
Also what has been a luxury that you take on camping? Not so much an essential?

There's a good sale on at my local Go Outdoors at the moment. I went yesterday and it was 20% off loads of camping stuff. I assume it would be a nationwide sale.

We have one opening in a few months a few miles from me. I am looking forward to seeing if they have some openings bargains.
Otherwise they are quite far from me.

To be honest there are flash sales throughout the. Season so I tend to spot what I need and then price track and grab it when it's a bargain

If you are after a cooking stand I'd recommend the Eurohike one from Millets.

I always buy camping equipment from my local independent shop. I don't find Go Outdoors very competitive not does it have the friendly and knowledgable service!

Go outdoors does have a big sale at the moment. DH got 50% off an electric coolbox.

Gaynors of Ambleside have good sales throughout the year - from cheaper stuff to more expensive.

Can't advise on sales but we splashed out on snugpac chrysalis sleeping bags this year. So happy with them :-)

WE've just got some stuff from millets. They were doing an extra 20% online too but not sure if that's ended now. Bank holiday always seems to be the best time.

SportsDirect had a great camping online sale last week, with a particularly cheap kitchen stand. Halfords had a great bench and table set.
