Any recommendations for family campsite for tent? Have been looking for last week of summer hols but fear I've left it too late?! Anyone know of any others in wales?

Llangennith dont allow you to book, you just turn up and if there is a pitch its yours. It is not far from a great beach....walk through the dunes. It is called Hillend Camping site.

Thanks tinytemper - it looks lovely, that is a stunning beach. Have you been in summer before? Slightly nervous about turning up without a booking but looks like it's quite big campsite so should be ok?

I'd recommend port eynon or Nicolston farm campsites!

My niece got a pitch on the hottest weekend in Wales at end of June no problem. You need to be there early though x

Nicholaston Farm is a great site.
Fantastic location and the nicest showers I've ever seen at a campsite!
