Campsite in Kent

Hi can anyone recommend a cheap campsite in Kent which would be good for kids not too far from London.
It's just me and 3 kids so good if they can make friends and not get bored.
Thank you.

Nethergong is a lovely laid back site. There's a pond where the children have a great time catching tiny frogs.

You won't get a pitch in nethergong this summer :(

OP - are you looking for somewhere this summer hols? You might struggle to find somewhere tbh

Yes nethergong is booked just looked.

Yes next week or so. Do you think it will be that hard to find something available? Oh dear 😞

What about right in London - there is a campsite in Dulwich - which might well not be booked up - basic facilities only and no camper vans.

Have a look on PitchUp.com , you can search by availability.

We stayed on a nice little site near Canterbury a couple of years ago, a place called Petham. The site is called Canterbury Fields but it used to be Yew Tree Park and that was what the road signs still said which was a bit confusing! They might have changed them by now.
Anyway, friendly owners, nice facilities, showers, washing up etc. There was a swimming pool and play area which just our luck was closed when we went.
There is a pub literally on the doorstep but not much else, however it was nice and central for visiting the rest of Kent. We did book quite late (we are terrible for leaving everything to the last minute) so you might be lucky.

Try Badgells Wood in Meopham. My husband has been there loads in the past and loved it.
