Has anyone got experience of this tent? Would it be too small for 4 to sleep in? Are kampa tents good quality?

I love ours, we sleep 3 very comfortably. It's good quality, easy to put up (air tent) and packs away well. A draw back is the lack of mesh door at the front so the wind blows straight in! We're planning to add some velcro to stop the dog escaping :) in all tho we love ours. HTC

I would say it would be too small for 4. Our rule of thumb is to go up at the very least 1 berth for the number of you, there are 4 of us so we've always had 6 berth tents. Air tents are amazing though!

Thanks. My thoughts are that it will be a little small too. Someone at DH work is selling one but I don't think it is right for me.

I had a kampa hayling 6 and it was insanely huge. It was a nightmare to pitch and we never managed to get it to look right. I think we may have been unlucky and ours was maybe cut or stitched a bit wrong though? Anyway, it was a nightmare and we replaced with a large pop up tent (base seconds family 4.2xl) which was a bit small so we are now in a trailer tent! I'd look at a Vango Icarus 500 with porch if I was buying a regular tent again. Not used one but friends have them and they look great. Or an air tent (pumps up) if you have the money and boot space (they are big).
