Looking for a nice site in Scotland.

Allows fires, EHU, amazing kids playground.

Anything spring to mind?

Which area in particular? We're off to Solway View next week, it's in Kirkcudbrightshire...

We're returning to Grannie's Heilan Hame this summer - good playground, crazy golf and huge clean beach. Small indoor swimming pool, lovely chip shop. It's VERY far north though, especially if you're coming from south of the border.

Culzean Castle has a fantastic kids playground but I don't know about fires. Campsite is next door, I think. Comrie Croft near Crieff is nice. Allows fires. Don't think there's a playground (known as a playpark in Scotland, I think) but plenty to do. Loch Morlich also nice.

Nydie Farm is lovely, I suppose it depends on your DCs what constitutes a fantastic play park though. It is a family oriented site with a play area and football goals right in the middle. You can hire fire pits or take your own. Ten mins drive to St Andrews and all the beach fun you could want or a stroll to the Inn at Strathkinness which passes a large play park. Can need to book for weekends during summer holidays.

Arisaig; right on the beach, stunning scenery.

Culzean park has just been upgraded too, its even better than it was. Im pretty sure you can have fires because when the kids go with beavers they have a camp fire. Loch morlich is incredible too. The views are outstanding. We are off to castle douglas next week and its supposed to be really good there too
