I use an Ikea plastic tub with a lid, a 22l one with a "cleaner's caddy" sitting into it for most small bits, and a larger (40l?) one for pots, crockery, and food. Not elegant, and not super robust, but as its only me and DD, and it stays in a storage unit most of the year, that does the job.
