I'm sure this has been asked before (and please feel free to link in an old thread if there is one!) but we were planning on going to Wowo in the summer and it's all booked. There are 5 families and all we really need is a campfire and somewhere for the kids to run around! Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

But really there isn't anywhere that comes close is there? I haven't found anywhere despite looking around.

Blackberrywood is nice. Or Blacklands.

Have a look at Bedgebury

The sunny field in Kent. Went last year, back to nature. Compost loos but the site is worth it.

Any camping unplugged site fulfils those criteria. campingunplugged.com/sites.html

Britchcombe Farm?

TestTubeTeen · 23/06/2017 21:34

I too would say the Camping Unplugged sites.

Try St. Ives in Hartfield -www.stivesfarm.co.uk/

We have done three years on a row there with about five families - three fields with a toilet and shower black. Pub about an hour away and loads of walks to do - there are two lakes so maybe not suitable if you have very young kids

we still have some space left for our pop up site in August coolcamping.com/campsites/uk/england/south-east-england/east-sussex/1068-glottenham

Check out the Hub in Bodiam

Isn't the appeal of wowo the workshops? If so I can't help but we did petruth paddocks last year with a couple of families and it was fantastic. Loads of space, very chilled and you can have a camp fire.

What is Wowo?

gutsyoak · 25/06/2017 09:14

It's a secret

NettleTea · 25/06/2017 10:47

we are running all sorts of workshops this year too

isnt the Hub part of Park Farm at Bodiam?
