Best disposable BBQ

For various reasons were are unable to take our BBQ camping this year so are going to make do with disposable ones. We have found in the past that they lose their heat pretty quickly. Has anyone found one that stays hot longer or has a genius alternative?

No, they are all shit Grin

I think part of the problem is that the grill is right on top of the coals.

I wonder if you could lay disposable BBQ on a layer of bricks, add more charcoal from an extra bag, and somehow prop the grill up higher. Maybe on tent pegs.... if you lost the layer of bricks.

The ones at Morrison's garage are pretty decent! The other we've had have all been rubbish though, hope that helps!

We got a portable non disposable from Asda whilst we were camping it was only £10. We used it a couple of times then left it. Didn't loose heat at all and of course you have the option of taking it home we just didn't have enough room in the car !

We have a fold up one from B&Q, doesn't take up anymore space than a disposable one and works properly ....... unlike a disposable one!

We have an outwell one like lady penelope's. I love it. We take it on picnics and use it often in the garden as well as taking it camping (even that one time, never again to be repeated when we took everything for five people for a weeks camping on the plane)
