Newbie caravaner - tips please??

We have just bought a caravan having previously loved our tents. We hope it might be a little easier for our ever growing family. Any tips for our first trip this Spring??

We once arrived in Spain and pitched up in the dark. Woke up the next morning and made breakfast - noticing the lovely clouds through the open roof!! Oops!!

Get a carbon monoxide alarm. My life was saved by one last year.

Go somewhere close to home for your first trip. If you're not used to towing the caravan club courses are well worth the money.
