Recommendations for Arcachon area

We have been great fans of Les Valades in the Dordogne for the past few years but fancy something different this year. Thinking coastal, with good flat cycle routes, but also good pool and poss waterslides. Not too commercial (although that might be a tricky ask). Anyway, Arcachon basin has come into my radar and I've found the following sites:

camping panorama
camping cap ferret
camping la foret
les viviers

Ile D'Oleron and Ile de Re are also possibilities.

Any thoughts fellow campers?

Oh I do love a good camp site window shop thread.

The first site has lovely views over the basin and the pitches look set in woodland too. I wonder how big it is- can't seem to find a map?

The second one looks like it doesn't have a pool and is possibly further away from the beach. Their site is a bit annoying to try and find these things out!

The third has a pool, but says it is 3km from the beach- what would driving/parking there be like.

I liked the look of the last one the best with first glances- with the lake and the water park, but a (very) quick scan at reviews they are very mixed.

Hillbilly, came across this site today on my travels. Slightly more north of where you were looking but I thought it looked like a good site.
