have cleverly decided to organise a mad lentil weavers camp this summer. prob in term time cos us weirdos don't send our kids to school

I'm sure theres one up the road from newport with chickens, and naff all in the way of facilities, but can't find it on ukcamping

Max distance from cardiff needs to be about an hour, since there are several families with +3000 kids so dads need to come and commute from campsite to work.

failing that, does anyone know of a friendly organic farmer with a field?

your thoughts?

Nicholaston Farm in Gower? There's no playground (not three years ago anyway) just a farm shop and the loo block. The field we camped in was just a field. No fancy landscaping. We sat out in the evening with the bats flying round. 10 - 15 mins walk to the most fabulous beach through the woods and over the sand-dune. Pick your own strawbs across the lane.
But is it too far from Cardiff???

Have emailed you Filly. You are the only person to have dared say that btw, everyone is shuffling nervously before saying something like" well he'll be here soon, can't wait to meet him" etc.
Good on yer girl!
