Chemical loos

We've just bought a horsebox with a chemical loo. Not a cassette type but one with a large tank which just needs to be emptied over a drainage hole.

We've bought some blue stuff which I know helps to break things down but does anybody know if we need to buy special loo paper or if the normal - maybe cheaper - stuff will break down OK?

We use the cheap own brand stuff from the supermarket for our cassette toilet. Seems to break down just as easily as the expensive Thetford stuff (and I say this a the person who has to empty it!)

Yep, agree with Jamie. The specialist paper is way overpriced, just don't buy quilted or triple ply. Own brand 2 ply is fine.
