Duvet tog

Sorry it's me again! Which duvet tog would you take for camping next weekend? I can't remember which one I used to take. I think it might've been my summer duvet. My winter duvet is massive & takes lots of space.

I've read threads about taking it in a vacuum bag but my air pump nozzle is tiny & wouldn't take the air out sufficiently at the campsite.

I am lying in a tent in Cornwall right now with a 13.5 tog duvet, wishing I'd brought the 9 tog instead. (Also wishing everybody else would wake up so I can make a cup of tea!) TBH even a 4.5 tog would have done. It's windy where we are, but really not cold at night. Kids are all fine in their lightweight sleeping bags. Vacuum bags are still worth it as you can squash a lot of air out bodily before closing the bag at the top.

Thanks Art.

I thought that our 13.5 tog will be too hot too, but my husband is worried that our summer duvet of 4.5 tog will be too thin & we'll be too cold at night Hmm

Perhaps take the lighter one and some layers. We use fleece blankets and adjust clothing if cold. Jumper on etc.

Thanks Wolf, that's what I'm going to do Smile
