Can anyone suggest a great campsite in North Devon? I would like clean facilities, an outdoor pool and a short walk to a beach. Also I need to take my dog. TIA

Woolacombe beach? Think that's what it's called? I stayed there years ago (when the one we wanted to stay at was full), didn't use the facilities but it had a pool.

North Morte farm. Been going since I was a baby! You reach it by wiggling down the narrow road through Mortehoe village, its a gorgeous if hilly spot! Gets busy in the summer though.

Just seen you want a pool. Sorry, its a quiet campsite with just a shop and laundry/showers, might not be your thing. Beautiful views though!

Thanks Alice. I love a wiggly lane!!

Shhhh... Alice. Don't tell anyone about the best campsite in the UK!

Been going since the early 80s - it's brilliant!

It's rubbish - don't bother going anyone!

Me too! Probably have rose tinted memories, I still like to go back now and then.
