Looking for recommendations please for a small uncrowded site somewhere in the middle of England, so thinking Cotswolds, Oxford, Warwickshire.
Loos and showers but no other facilities needed and ideally walking distance to nice pub!
If it's a site that allows fires that would be a bonus.
Dog friendly but doesn't need to be child friendly!!
Thank you

Dunfurlong farm, near circencester.

It has a farm Shop/cafe on site which is licensed and has bbq some evening with music. Not sure if pub walkable as we didn't go to one but lovely small site. Has tee pees too.

It was close to Cotswold water park and bourton on water etc

Campsite has a wood(y) area where our kids (ages 3-10) spent hours making dens, rope swings, biking etc. We took our own fire pit and the campsite were happy to lend to lend bbqs and fire pits for a small deposit

We will definitely be going back.

Thank you Kathryn , that looks nice - but seems very booked up from the website so would definitely need to plan! Hoping to find somewhere we can take off to if a weekend looks like being sunny!!

In Wiltshire on the edge of the Cotswolds. Pub over the road and bath 5 miles away

This place is small, allows fires, and is on the edge of Minchinhampton with a couple of good pubs within walking distance. Dogs are allowed, although they have to be kept on a lead on site as it's on a farm, but there's plenty of beautiful walks around and the pubs tend to be dog friendly.
