I nearly just bought one of those pop-up solar lanterns on amazon, the kind that also charge phones. I'd only skimmed the many reviews (which were uniformly glowing), and only just noticed that they were all written after receiving the lanterns free... The handful which are genuine are far patchier with the praise.
So - real campers who pay for their own stuff - what's a good, sturdy solar lantern? A bonus would be one that's not glaring blue-white, and possibly with phone charger socket (though shall probably just buy a separate charger for that).
