Aldi has tents on offer for £15 from tomorrow-does anyone know how good they are? We've got our first time camping at a festival in August-I don't want to break the bank by buying an expensive one as DH really not keen on camping so might be our one and only time! It'd be me, DH, dd3 and DS 11m. Was thinking of buying 2nif only small?!

I wouldn't, unless you can buy one, pitch it in your garden in the rain and see if it leaks!
Look for a decent 4/5 man, 2nd hand one instead.

Whatever tent you buy, just remember, a 4 man tent has room (supposedly) for 4 people to lie down. Unless it has a 'living room' area. You will, I presume have shoes, boots, clothes bags, food items and nappies etc. You need to have room in the tent to put these items when sleeping. On a normal site you could keep them in the car, but i presume at a festival you won't have the car with you, so make sure the tent has room for them.
(obviously your DC's can top to tail and only take up the space of one 'man'.)
