Clarys Plage: swimwear

Wondering if those of you who have been to Le Clarys plage know how strict they are about wearing swim briefs? DH is a swim short guy, I may need to start preparing him now if he has to squeeze into something tighter

Interested to hear from anyone who has been there too. We are looking at it for this year.

Also wondered if kids are allowed to wear rash vests.

Would also be interested to know, we are going there in June

I would guess that it is not strictly enforced because if you watch the pool video on the Clarys Plage website you'll see lots of boys/chaps in swim shorts.

Thats what I am hoping SalomeD; it would be good to have it confirmed by someone with real life experience though. As for kids rash vests, they better allow mine, easier than suncream

Just to let you know we have been to Le Clarys Plage 3 times, the last being in 2015. I can confirm that there are no restrictions on swimwear. Both i and my 3 boys all wore board shorts and my two smaller kids 5 and 7 wore rash vests without any issues. The only thing i would say is to make sure the shorts are not too long and make sure they are not the same ones that you wear elsewhere i.e. at the beach as this is where it will become a problem. They also has a small cut out cardboard child at the entrance to the pool where any child under that height needed to wear armbands however i never saw it enforced but if you have small children it may be worth getting a cheap pair before you go just in case.
