help me decide - France in May 1-2 term but where??!!

Hi
Please help me decide, I can't!! We have the choice of the vendee or the dordogne in May 1/2 term. Been to both before but thinking about weather, could we canoe in May? How busy will Dordogne be?? Thanks!!

As always I will recommend Les Valades but no idea what it's like in May. Great site if you like space and a relaxed vibe with little entertainment laid on. We have only been in summer. Have been for last 3 years and hear they are adding indoor pool now and more cabins. Worth checking out.
