France campsite recommendations

I've trawled some of the past threads but wonder if anyone had any more recommendations.
Looking for somewhere no more than about 6/7hrs from Calais.
Swimming pool
Slides a bonus
Beach/lake/river swimming nearby
Good cycle track cycling (would be great not to drive when there)
Interesting town/village/countryside to explore
No evening entertainment needed
No cafe /food places needed
Daytime activities a bonus (not kids club more climbing/sailing type)
Kids aged 6 to 12

Have you looked at the Ardeche region? I wouldn't personally cycle there as the roads are narrow and busyish, but for an active holiday, it's fab.

We stayed at L'Ardechois (sp?)

Limeuil is a beautiful site on the banks of the Dordogne, where it meets the Vezere, so if you pack any sort of inflatable then your kids can join all the others who walk up to the bridge, jump onto the flowing stream and get off again alongside the campsite. The river is very clean and perfect for swimming in by the banks, or floating down towards the middle! Small pool on site, and trampolines near river. Limeuil itself is tiny but very pretty and worth the climb to the top for the views. Ask for a pitch with river views, they are huge and shady.
